Faces of Love

Someone told me that the Greeks have three words for Love.

eros - romantic / erotic love

phylos - friendship or the love between friends

agape - all encompassing love

The English word love can mean so many things, it can confuse people when they say it.

Yet, perhaps it was meant to be. Just as each of us have many versions of ourselves, so can love be multi-dimensional. There may be many many more than three faces of love...

and yet, the source of Love is all the same. We just want to experience all the variations in life.
